NOW ALSO SERVING SULLIVAN COUNTY, NH!

With almost 50 years of experience in mentoring throughout Windsor County, Windsor County Mentors is wholly committed to promoting and sustaining positive, one-on-one intergenerational mentor relationships.

We match carefully screened, caring adult volunteers who provide fun, trusting relationships with boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 16 who reside anywhere in Windsor County, VT or Sullivan County, NH.  We provide services up to age 18.

Whether over a short lunch or for two hours a week, the Mentor/Mentee relationships create rare opportunities for our youth Mentees to have new experiences and broaden their horizons. For adult Mentor volunteers, it provides a chance to tap into the enthusiasm of youth while offering insight to the challenges facing young people today.

Volunteering as a mentor does not require any special credentials. It does, however, require that you like to have fun, share what you know, avail yourself consistently, listen attentively, demonstrate patience and tolerance, and are open to learning from your young friend. We work hard to match mentors and youth according to interests, proximity, needs and personality, assuring as best we can that matches are mutually fulfilling.

We invite you to share your time, skills or other resources with us! Please contact us for more information:
